It’s because you don’t want our stuff

You don’t even want people that look like us to be in your stuff

I really want people to understand this, being a person of color and/or queer person in the media is difficult.

The less cis straight white people being represented in something, the more the white mainstream audience panics.


This is also why it’s harder for writers of color in the comic book industry because their writing is often automatically criticized as being some kind of racial agenda.

Yeah being super “rational” still doesn’t make up for racism.
